Iranian couple accused of stealing and fraud is believed to have terror links: 4 of the group escaped to Pakistan

Kollam: The Intelligence Bureau officers will question an Iranian couple for terror links. The duo, Ameer and Nasarina, were earlier arrested for stealing money from a shop in the pretext of buying goods.

It is believed that four others who were in the group had escaped to Pakistan via Nepal.

On 6 March, a German citizen, Liza, had gone missing. It was at the exact time that the group visited Pakistan. The police, investigating the disappearance of Liza, also believe that Liza might too have entered Pakistan along with the group.

The police are saying that the Iranian couple have visited Pakistan many times and that they have a Pakistan visa too.

There is already a case of fraud at Alappuzha police station against the couple. The duo will be presented at court today.
