Kerala: KSRTC long distance services to resume from Saturday

Kozhikode: Long distance KSRTC bus will resume services in the state from Saturday, said Transport Minister A K Saseendran. The ticket rate will be old for 260 long distance services. The buses will not ply in the containment zones and no there will be no inter-state services.

As there are many COVID patients in Thampanoor in Thiruvananthapuram, no KSRTC bus service will be availabe. Therefore a temporary arrangement will be made from Anayara in Thiruvananthapuram, the minister informed in a press meet held in Kozhikode.

Meanwhile, the public is more reliant on private vehicles rather than private buses owing to fear of the coronavirus outbreak, which will indirectly affect KSRTC services.
