Kerala registers new 1251 cases of COVID-19

Thiruvananthapuram: The state reported new 1,251 cases of coronavirus today, said Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. At the same time, 814 tested negative for infection.

1061 cases have been reported due to contact.

77 people arrived from abroad, and 94 from other states.

At the same time, the CM has announced an ex-gratia of Rs 5 lakh each to the kin of those who lost their lives in the landslide in Idukki’s Rajamalai. The treatment for the injured will be borne by the state government.
