Kerala reports highest spike of new 1,569 cases of COVID-19

Thiruvananthapuram: The state reported highest spike of new 1,569 cases of coronavirus today. Meanwhile 1304 recovered from the disease.

The state also reported more 10 deaths due to coronavirus.

Thiruvananthapuram recorded with the maximum of 310 cases followed by Malappuram 198, Palakkad 180, Ernakulam 114, Alappuzha 113, Kottayam 101, Kozhikode 99, Kannur 95, Thrissur 80, Kollam 75, Idukki 58, Wayanad 57, Kasaragod 49 and Pathanamthitta 40.

Of these confirmed cases, 56 arrived from abroad while 132 from other states. 1354 people infected through local transmission.
