Passports of 5 associates of Tablighi Jamaat’s chief seized

New Delhi: The Crime Branch of Delhi Police have seized passports of Tablighi Jamaat chief Maulana Saad’s five close associates, namely, Mufti Shahzad, Zishan, Mursalin Saifi, Mohammad Salman, and Younus.

The group will be facing a tough time now as none of these accused will be set free till the matter is done with.

According to sources, Delhi Police will also file chargesheet against 916 foreign members of Jamaat who have violated visa rules, their passports as well as other documents were seized. The foreign nationals reportedly came from 67 various countries to India on Tourist Visa.

The Delhi Police in their questioning came to know that they were staying in Markaz after March 20 at the behest of Maulana Saad.
