PM Modi’s mementos to get auctioned from today; invites to participate in the E-auction

New Delhi: For the contribution towards Namami Gange Programme, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced that all gifts and mementos he received in the last one year would be getting auctioned and will be on display at the National Gallery of Modern Art (NGMA), India Gate.

The auction begins today until October 3.

Modi tweeted, “Continuing a practice I have always believed in! All those gifts and mementos I have received in the last one year would be getting auctioned starting today till 3rd October. These mementoes would be on display at the NGMA near India Gate in Delhi. Do visit to have a look!”

The amount raised will be utilised for ‘Namami Gange’ Project.

‘Namami Gange Programme’, is an Integrated Conservation Mission, approved as ‘Flagship Programme’ by the Union Government in June 2014 with a budget outlay of Rs.20,000 Crore to accomplish the twin objectives of effective abatement of pollution, conservation and rejuvenation of National River Ganga.
