Rawa Banana Halwa

Ingredients :

Ghee 1/2 Cup
Raisins 2 Table Spoon
Cashew 10 halves
Rava 1/2 Cup
Milk 1/2 Cup
Water 1/2 Cup
Sugar 1/2 Cup
Chopped Banana 1/2 Cup
Cardamom Powder 1/4 Tea Spoon

In 1/4 cup of ghee, fry 2 TBS raisins and 10 halves cashews. Fry until golden brown.

Keep the fried cashews and raisins aside

Add 1/2 cup Rava to the ghee remaining in the frying pan

Roast in low flame for 5 minutes

Fry until Rava turns aromatic

Add 1/2 cup milk and 1/2 cup water
Mix it all well in low flame

Stir continuously.

Without any lumps keep stirring until the mixture becomes tight.

Cover the pan with a lid and simmer for 5 minutes

Once cooked well add 1/2 cup of sugar and 1/2 cup chopped banana

Gently mix till the sugar melts

Add 1/4 cup of ghee

Add the roasted dry fruits

1/4 teaspoon of cardamom powder

Mix well

Once again simmer for another 5 minutes

Allow to cool
