SCO Summit begins; Prime Minister urges to root out terrorism

Bishkek: Shanghai Cooperation Organisation summit has begun today at Bishkek, the capital city of Kyrgistan. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has asked the countries to unite against terrorism. PM also added that countries that sponsor, aid and fund terrorism must be held accountable.

While addressing the summit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized on the need for cooperation among nations to fight against terrorism. Priority must be given for the peace of region,he said.

Last day, Prime Minister held bilateral talks with Chinese President XI Jinping, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Afghanistan President Ashraf Ghani.
