Supreme Court defers Lavalin case

New Delhi: The top court today deferred Lavalin case by considering the plea of KSEB former chairman R Sivadasan, who is the third accused in the case. Sivadasan had filed a plea stating he requires more time to respond for the CBI affidavit.

The court is considering the plea of CBI asking to cancel the High Court verdict, acquitting Pinarayi Vijayan and two others and the pleas of three former KSEB officers, requesting to discharge from the case.
