University college issues: Governor intervenes

Thiruvananthapuram: The Governor has intervened in the issues of the University college and has asked an emergency report from Vice Chancellor. The report must contain a detailed report on the murder attempt on Akhil, the third year student of University college.The Governor also sought details of the recovery of seal and answer sheets from the house of SFI Unit President Sivaranjith, the main accused of the stabbing case.

More accused have been identified and police informed 16 culprits were behind the attack and ten of them are yet to be nabbed. Police probe is underway to find out the rest of the accused.
