V. Muraleedharan nominated as the new Deputy Chief Whip in Rajya Sabha

New Delhi: The BJP Parliamentary Party has nominated Minister of State, V. Muraleedharan, as the Deputy Chief Whip in the Rajya Sabha.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the party leader in the Lok Sabha, while Rajnath Singh is the deputy leader. The parliamentary party also nominated Union Minister, Thawar Chand Gehlot, leader of the party in Rajya Sabha while Piyush Goyal is nominated the deputy leader in Rajya Sabha.

Prahlad Joshi is the government chief whip in Rajya Sabha and Arjun Ram Meghwal is the Lok Sabha deputy chief whip. The Lok Sabha party chief whip is Sanjay Jeswal and Rajya Sabha chief whip is Narayanan Lal Panchari.
